Les Bans (3669m), massif Olan/rouies (Oisans). Couloir Nord.
At the bottom of the Vénéon valley overlooking the glacier Pilatte the top of Bans is scratched in the middle by a magnificent hall of snow and ice. That is, with the Gravelotte corridor Meije a steeper corridors of Oisans.
The difficulties concentrated in the middle third are not extreme. Mainly glacial corridor classically climbed by its right bank where one can find good relay locations to shelter against drops of various projectiles.
The descent with a short edge crossing (west), then Macho corridor allows no great difficulty to enjoy the airy feeling of the summit.

Approach: At approximately 2:30 from the refuge of Pilatte (2577m).
Height of the corridor: About 400m between 3200 and 3600m.
Schedule: 4 to 6:00 climbing.
Period: April to early summer depending on conditions.
