Discovering the Cerces
3 days touring in the Cerces mountain range, the perfect playground for multiple days’ ski touring.
Dates: beginning of January to beginning of April.
Number of days: 3 days.
Number of participants: minimum 3 persons and maximum 6.
Technical level: Average ski tourer. Around 5-hour days with a vertical climb of 700 to 900 metres / day. You need to be comfortable skiing in all types of snow conditions.
Price “All Included”: 447€/person.
D-1 – Possibility to stay at hostel or hotel upon request.
D1 – Col du Chardonnet 2638m.
Meet at the Guide Bureau at 07:30 am. We go through the equipment and programme. We take the car to Pont de l’Alpe. Skins on and we start our climb to l’Alpe du Lauzet to continue to Col du Chardonnet. We ski down to the cosy Chardonnet hut. Vertical climb: +930m
D-2 : Tour des Crêtes du Queyrellin
Skin up to Col de Casse Blanche (2800m). Ski down to the Laval hut. Skin along the Clarée river to spend the night in the Drayères hut. Vertical climb: +770m
D-3 : Tour de la pointe des Cerces
Skin to Col des Cerces, passing the Rond lake, then ski down to the Cerces lake. One last climb to the Crête de la Ponsonnière (2824m) to finish off with a long ski descent down to the car at Pont de l’Alpe.
The programme is always subject to change depending on weather, snow conditions and the level of the participants. The guide makes the final decision to modify the programme due to safety reasons.
