Two 3000s facing La Meije during a 3-day ski touring raid in the heart of Oisans
The village of La Grave is especially renowned in winter for the quality of the skiing offered in the valleys of La Meije where the almost permanent cold allows you to enjoy often cold snow and sustained and endless slopes.
But just opposite, between the beautiful mountains of Pic du Mas de La Grave and Goléon, you can enjoy a sunny playground, passable in the heart of winter!
The Mas de La Grave and Goléon refuges allow you to enjoy a beautiful roam between two peaks ideal for ski touring.
On the program: grandiose scenery between the giants of the Ecrins and the expanse of the Emparis plateau, refuges on a human scale, variety of terrain encountered, in short a real ski raid experience in just 3 days!
Jour 1
Departure from the Chazelet resort via the Emparis ski lift, ascent to the Pic du Mas de La Grave via the Gros Têt and descent to the Mas de La Grave refuge.
D+ 1200m, D- 1400m
Jour 2
A long traverse towards the Goléon refuge via the summit of the Petite Buffe, the Paquier du Roi, then the Cruq des aiguilles before descending to the refuge.
D+ 1400m, D- 1200m
Jour 3
ascent of Goléon and return to the village of Les Hières.
D+1000m, D- 1700m

Skis, boots, poles (material designed for the terrain and the sport – freeride/ski touring/etc)
You regularly ski tour in the backcountry with day tours or multi day tours. The accumulation of efforts does not scare you and you can link together multiple climbs and descents in all snow conditions. You are comfortable on steeper slopes for the climb and the descent.
You are in very good physical shape. You are able to easily climb and ski all day with a backpack between 10-15kg, depending on the technical level of the trip.
