The ideal canyon for learning how to abseil independently

After a beautiful approach with views of the Montagne des Agneaux, this canyon takes you into a rugged, mineral world where you will discover different techniques for moving and descending on a rope. With suspended handrails and water-splashed abseils, this outing will refresh you while immersing you in the atmosphere of large canyons.

Short day of canyoning.

Meet your instructor at 9:30 a.m. in front of the La Grave guide office.

Transportation to the activity site will be arranged.

Equipment distribution and safety briefing. Descent of the canyon.

Be accustomed to moving on unstable and slippery terrain, have previous experience of abseiling and moving along handrails.

Be able to walk for an hour uphill and on unstable terrain, and be capable of 4 to 5 hours of physical activity.
Have no medical conditions that would prevent you from participating in canyoning.
