Discovering the iceclimbing in Villar d’Arène

Discover the magic of ice climbing without heading to the high mountains at the Villar d'Arène site!

The ideal place to start or perfect your technique in an accessible and spectacular setting.

This waterfall is located in a natural setting but is artificially fed, offering accessible and varied routes so that everyone can learn the basics of using ice axes and crampons, as well as the fundamental techniques of belaying and ice climbing. You will try out several routes as you gain confidence in yourself, the equipment, and your belayer, all under the watchful eye of your mountain guide.

This promises to be an unforgettable first encounter with ice climbing and is the perfect way to prepare for more challenging outings in natural environments.
