Have you already experienced the joys of ski touring and want to take it further in an exceptional setting? Our excursions, supervised by high mountain guides from the La Grave guide office, are designed for intermediate skiers looking for adventure, spectacular views and unforgettable descents.
Accompanied by passionate professionals, you will learn how to better manage your efforts, perfect your turns and progress in this extraordinary playground between Oisans and Ecrins, in the heart of the Hautes Alpes.
Some ideas for outings:
Le Signal de La Grave: a natural viewpoint offering breathtaking views of La Meije and its glaciers.
Traversée du Col de Côte Plaine: set off from the Col du Lautaret for a beautiful traverse. A gentle and gradual ascent, perfect for working on your climbing technique. A varied descent, often in spring snow on the south face.
Le vallon des Combeynots: a wild route starting from the Col du Lautaret, combining technical skill and the pleasure of skiing.
The Vallon du Fontenil: the ideal starting point for several routes of different levels.
Traverse of the Emparis plateau: freerando from the Emparis ski lift at Chazelet to the village of Besse en Oisans. A gentle glide with a magnificent panorama facing La Meije.

Join us for an unforgettable experience combining sport, discovery and authentic mountain life.
That day, your meeting time is at 8:45am at the guide office.
You’ll meet your guide and he will lend you the security gear (tranceiver, shovel, probe)
Don’t forget your back pack (30L)
Your outing will be from 9am to 4pm.
The program of the day depends on the snow conditions, weather forecast, your level, and your desires.
You have to had a picnic (you will also pay the lunch for the guide).

Picnic for during the day
You are able to descend a red piste in a ski area and you sometimes ski on the non-groomed edges of the piste. While climbing, you are able to walk between 3 to 4 hours with around 800m of gain.
You are able to walk 2 to 4 hours with a light day backpack.
