Let a climbing instructor of la Grave introduce you to the joys of climbing on the beautiful climbing sites of the “Pays de la Meije”: Les Fréaux, Les Balmes or Arsine at Villar d’Arene.
Take your first steps in the vertical world under the supervision and help of a Mountain Guide or a Climbing Instructor and a top rope. You will learn to control your fear and master some basic climbing and rope handling techniques needed to ascend and descend the routes. With a friendly and easy approach we will give everyone time to get accustomed to the vertical environment.
Appointments are at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. or 4 p.m. directly on site.

As a beginner, you don’t need any experience. You will be provided with all the equipment and shown how to use it. Just relax and let us teach you!
No fitness level required. Approaching the crag will be a very easy hike with a light backpack.
