4 days of ski touring across the beautiful peaks and passes of the Ecrins and Oisans ranges in the Hautes Alpes.
The La Romanche spring cirque is a true paradise for ski mountaineering enthusiasts! Dominated by Les Agneaux, Neige Cordier and Grande Ruine, the Chamoissière and L’alpe de Villard d’arêne mountain huts are two base camps ideally located to make the most of the peaks in the area.
For this 4-day trip, we offer you a short tour of the area to explore the countless possibilities for descents in this very alpine location: depending on the conditions, we will choose the routes that we think are best suited, but here is an idea of what our trip might look like:
Ascent to the refuge and climb of the Pic de Chamoissière, Pic de Neige Cordier loop via the Agneaux glacier, Col du Pavé, Brèche du Peigne and descent to the Pied du Col.
A real journey into the heart of a preserved and wild mountain range!
Day 1
Departure from the foot of the pass and ascent of Pic de Chamoissière. Return to the refuge.
Elevation gain: 1,450 m
Day 2
Ascent of Col du Pavé and return to the refuge.
Elevation gain: 1,550 m
Day 3
Pic de Neige Cordier loop via the Agneaux glacier.
Elevation gain: 1600 m
Day 4
Brêche du Peigne loop.
Elevation gain: 1000 m

Lodging costs for clients and guide
You regularly ski tour in the backcountry with day tours or multi day tours. The accumulation of efforts does not scare you and you can link together multiple climbs and descents in all snow conditions. You are comfortable on steeper slopes for the climb and the descent.
You are in very good physical shape. You are able to easily climb and ski all day with a backpack between 10-15kg, depending on the technical level of the trip.
