We invite you during this weekend to discover, in the company of a High Mountain Guide, the joys and the feeling of freeriding on the area of the Vallons de la Meije cable car, between Oisans and Ecrins.
With a simple and warm welcome in the cottages of the village, where you can taste the very mountain atmosphere of the place. The team from the La Grave guides office will bring you their know-how, their knowledge and their passion for the place. We all practice off-piste skiing in this area with assiduity, some even, since the creation of the cable car in 1977, and we also do not fail to explore all the surrounding gems (off-piste or hiking from Alpe d 'Huez, the two Alps, Serre Chevalier, Montgenèvre, Pelvoux, Puy St Vincent, …). 2 days to take advantage of off-piste skiing in this area unique in the world, to tackle notions of safety, and why not descend a slightly steeper corridor (depending on the level of the group)? The variants are not lacking to make these 2 days a unique moment!
You occasionally ski in the backcountry. You are comfortable with all snow conditions and steeper slopes don't scare you.
You are able to ski multiple complex descents and manage your energy throughout the day and are not afraid to hike up short climbs with skis on your backpack or with skins.
Off-piste skiing and safety
Meet at 8:15 a.m. at the guide office where we will take some time to get to know each other and set up the equipment. Before the first bend, the guide will brief everyone on the safety instructions and specific equipment (ARVA, glacier equipment). This is a very important time, a preliminary step necessary to practice serene and responsible skiing together. We will then have the day to ski in the Vallons de La Meije and on the Girose glacier. We will always opt for the routes best suited to the level of the group and the conditions at the time. This will sometimes take us to more confidential places, requiring a return shuttle. A short lunch break is often welcome. It will take place in one of the restaurants on the estate. We will finish this first day of skiing around 5 p.m
Routes / corridors

This program remains indicative, we will have to adapt to the forecasts of the weather, the mountain conditions and the participant's level. In the last resort, the guide remains the unique judge of the program that he can modify due to security requirements
